This workshop with Grace Cappy aims to bring together a traditional darkroom process rooted in architectural history and combine it with the eclectic mix of architecture that makes up the skyline of Birmingham. Cyanotypes (the original blue print process) are a fun and easy technique that allows you to get to grips with one of the first photographic processes. You will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional practice and create your own collages of Birmingham using a variety of negatives of iconic architecture from around the city. About Grace Cappy: As a photographer my interest lies in architecture and traditional photographic processes. I create large scale collages of architecture from around the UK focusing on the changing landscape of our cities as regeneration distorts the urban environment. www.gracecappyphotography.co.uk
